Ocean
Risk of
Danger

Peace
Risk of hope
Joy and sorrow
Pain and life
Always rejoicing
No matter
Where I am
Lullabies wafting up
From below, tender music
Created to soothe and prompt
Rest
Peace
Sunshine pouring in windows
Offering warmth
Light and clarity
Filtering out heat
Mother Earth offers ground
Stability much of the time
A home for all
Even for those under the sea
Shine light upon people
And all beings
Even when they act mean
Deprived, haunted, hurt
Striking out
Screaming and shouting
So we will hear them
Witnessing
Remembering
Pausing
Breathing
Taking in the
Anger and
Deep pain
To translate
To transmute
To transform
Ourselves within
While still shining
Beaming compassion
Love, Kindness
Gentle urging
To touch the truth
And the glimmering
Around the edges of
That truth not
Needing the rest
Of the story
True intention
Along with
Possible distortions
Inside our minds
Leading to pain
And so much suffering
Surrender to
The Now
Feel the arms of
The Cosmic Divine
Holding all of us
All of the time
Asking us to
Shine Light
So we can all
Find our ways
