Such fright and anxiety
Depression and anger
In people’s eyes and bodies
My own
A highly tense body
Walking around all wound up
Simmering small explosions
Like at the bottom of the ocean
Or during the rumbling of a volcano
Predicting a gigantic blast of lava
Or tsunami
Wear and tear on body
Chattering brain noises
Stress induced fantasies
Hurry up, go fast
NOW!!!
As she aged, Virginia Satir once said
"It is time to pull in a few breasts"
Or else, Crab Nebula
An Exploding Star
Let someone else take care
Of the babies
Now
Let the violence erupt all around
Without chasing or
Trying to fix all of this chaos
Let hostility slide by
Watch it, stunned but
Not as much a part of it
Like before
A bit detached
Floating sparkles
Outside of the orbiting
Gravitational pull
Magnetic embrace
Possibly ruffling feathers by
Stepping out of the rat race, having
Aggressively pushed against patriarchy and
Corrupt Authority
Cultural norms
Abuse of women and black and brown people
Damnation of both immigrants and LGBTQI communities
Genocide
A body more at ease
Healthy and strong
Spirit soaring
Fewer climactic crises
Silence increases
A peace at last
Sharper, clearer than ever before
Not as alert to danger or fear
As if cuddled up in soft embryonic fluid
Without the pressure of being born
Anytime soon
Relax here
For
Now
