Mother Earth
Quakes and shivers
Storms and shudders
She reveals a circle
Broiling with volcanoes
Lava spewing hot
Destructive energies galore
Wild fires burn freely
Devouring structures
Animals, plants, trees
Anything and everything
In our Mother's path
Tectonic plates shift
Adjusting into new forms
Compensating while dealing
With the chaos on her outer edges
The strong winds and fury
Of her crust
Tornadoes, hurricanes
So much turbulence
Surface drama
Like our egos, our minds
Diving deep into her core
The Mother appears to be resting
The disaster and torment distant
She is at peace, strong
At home inside herself
Motionless, quiet
Way down below
Unwavering Tranquility
Wu wei
Doing Nothing
Be kind
Love and honor
Her existence
And she will respect us
As the storms continue
We explore our own cores
Our own centers of
Silence and peace
At the still point
Discovering the dance
