During the separation from Spirit
Before our human births in the womb
Imagine a rose gold coil being placed
Within our original cells
To create a fortress around us embryos
To protect us so very carefully so
That we would live and grow
Into healthy human beings
Even though this process also
Separated us from Source
Divine Love Intelligence
We unborn babies then forgot about this Oneness
While learning to grow into our best human selves
Only now can we see more clearly what happened:
The coil filled up our cells and infused us with energy
Performing the job of protecting and guarding
So amazingly well but also sealed off
Intimate knowledge about how Divine Love has
Always dwelled within us
Love is us
We are not singular without Love
Even if we have not known
About this truth until right now
Countless safeguards lived within and around us
Layers upon layers built up over
So many years, keeping us from knowing
For so long what we know now
That we can now relax our search because
Grace resides in us
Grace is us and
We are Grace
All one all along
Few of us have truly understood this fabulous news
Until something or someone guides us
Cautiously, tenderly, and affectionately
Persuading us to dive deep down into the muck
The murky waters, the dirt of life
We wonder, why did this wisdom take so long?
We did all the right things to be safe and protected
(although some mistakes were made)
Learning also engendered suffering
Despairingly and continuously over time
An internal agony
Wondering why we couldn’t figure all this out
Ourselves
Before now?
Maybe because we cannot figure out
Such sacred matters with just our human brains
We had clouds in our eyes all these years
We could not see clearly for oh so long
This fog often lived within us
And now we know that
Love just is
Right under our noses
In our noses and in all of our parts
All of this time
Always present
Always persistent
Finally, the ecstasy of this precious news has arrived
Suggesting that we no longer need to work so very hard
To improve, to correct, to love better
Because we already have
We already do
We always did
Perhaps we can laugh about this cruel joke
That has taken us all these years to
Finally experience so fluidly
Or not
Only in play and with Love
Can we see and hear
Touch, smell and taste
This new news
That has always been here just waiting
For us to perceive and grasp
Not just temporarily or fleetingly
We now comprehend the ironies and paradoxes of
The Human and Divine relationship
After all, we are perfectly and divinely human
No longer needing protection from bliss
