Pouring forth from the skies
From far past Mother Earth’s atmosphere
From way past our Solar System
Rising up from the deep ground's precious
Oils, gases, minerals and metals
She announces herself
As if she is not separate
From me
She spoke to me from
Inside or outside or around me
I am not sure how that works
“I am the interconnection
The bridge between you
Your heart space, your body
Your soul and mind to
All of the suns of the
Multitudes of galaxies, stars, planets
Asteroids, black holes
Countless clusterings of
Energy that you may not ever know
By name but which are
Connecting to you through your Sun
I am flowing
Inside you and beyond you
I provide you with your essence
Your fire, your spark and also with
Your offering to spread
Peace in the world
Displaying the joyous news of
Wonderment, delight and
The true and constant feeling of
Being so very alive
In human form”
“What are you here to tell me?” I asked
She responded gently and clearly
No hesitation at all in her voice
Which I heard deep inside me
Yet seeming to come from the outside, too
“I just want you to glow
I just want you to share yourself
I just want you to listen carefully to
All the sounds, smells, tastes, and images you meet
Feeling all of the incredible wisdom available to you
While you accept and open up to
All living beings, proclaiming
Everything you know and don’t know
About life, love and Spirit”
("Oh, that's all? I wondered)
“Who are you?” I whisper anxiously
“Oh,” she answers
“I am the clouds and the raindrops
I am the storms and wildfires
I am the Source living in all who dwell on, alongside
Or within the land of Mother Earth Gaia
Inside her and around her
In her waters, in her air,
In her dirt, surfaces and
Crystalline layers and coils
Broadcasting her Inner flame, her core
And, for that matter, exalting everyone and
Everywhere else in
All of space and time and imagination”
“Oh?”
“Yes, I am the One of so many millions of parts
Who some call God
Some call Buddha, some call
The Divine Feminine, Yahweh, so many names
From all sorts of human and nonhuman
Cultures, so many languages and customs
I am all around everywhere and
There may never be one single name for me
That will ever properly describe me along with
You and everyone and every time and everywhere else”
“Are you saying you are the Almighty One?”
I ask sheepishly, or actually, lamb-like
She smiles widely although
I can’t quite see her body
Her shape or her face but
I know she is smiling
Almost laughing, not at me
But at my naïveté about
All things spiritual, about so much
More that I don’t even have names for
All of THAT
Great Presence
Divine Mysteries
Hallowed spaces and places
The Holy, the Divine
For those of us who believe
We are inseparable from this
Magnificence, all-knowing
All-trusting Source
We can hardly even imagine
Being part of, much less
Being completely composed of
This wondrous energy that streams
Continuously and eternally
All around and through us
This Amazing Beaming called
Sweet Love Wisdom
Maybe that is all we need to know
For now
